ABSTRACT DEADLINE is 31st of January, 2012 for the Albanian dentists.

PROVISIONAL ACCEPTANCE or REJECTION NOTIFICATION

For the foreigner dentists will be March 18th.
For the Albanian dentists will be February 15th

Important: If your abstract will be accepted, you will get a confirmation email. After that the applicant should pay immediately the registration fee to the Bank Account (check registration) and send the prof of registration scanned by email. If the registration payment is not accomplished on time the abstract will not be inserted in the program and book of abstract.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Please carefully follow the format and style in the instructions below. 
Abstracts which do not conform to the guidelines presented in this document will be returned to the authors and will require re-submission.  
Only abstracts describing data that have not been previously published in the international literature can be accepted.
Title box (Times New Roman 10, single-spaced)
The title should be in bold font and no longer than 12 words. The names of the authors (maximum 5) should be written in CAPITALS starting with the last name and followed by the first and middle initials. The name of the presenting author should be followed by an asterisk (*). The names of the authors’ institutions (max. 3) must be written in italics and followed by the name of the country/countries concerned.

The text of a ‘Research Abstract’ must start with the Aim(s), if necessary preceded by an introductory sentence, and followed by the Methods. Please make sure to indicate where, when and from whom the data were gathered. The description of the methodology should include statistical methods when appropriate. Results should list the most important findings. Finally, there should be Conclusion(s) highlighting the most important finding(s). The conclusions must be based on the observed results. If appropriate, funding and other support for the research should be declared in the Acknowledgements along with any other potential conflicts of interest.
For p-values, the letter p must be in italics (e.g. p<0.05). Decimals must be separated with a dot (e.g. 30.8) and thousands with a comma (e.g. 1,000). Do not use a space between the percent sign ("%") and the number preceding it. Correct: "90%". Incorrect: "90 %".
Authors of a ‘Communication of interest to dentistry’ should not be constrained by the above-mentioned headings (Aim(s), Methods, Results, and Conclusions).  The abstract must be no longer than 26 lines and/or 300 words.

Important:

1. The applicants should specify if the abstract is for an oral presentation or poster presentation.

2. You are permitted to submit one abstract as the first author but you may co-author others.

3. The submission of an abstract carries with it the obligation to register and to present it during the congress.
